::: A classified transmission reveals that in another timeline, JFK was not killed. But the Apollo astronauts were stranded on the moon, rescue impossible. Their demise imminent, they were instructed to ingest several milligrams of an unknown powdery substance. A narcotic painkiller? Or a suicide drug? Bravely they followed procedure, their final orders. Drifting into hallucination and reverie, the truth is revealed: the psychotropic substance bridges mind and reality. They are teleported back to Earth... But NASA cannot control where the substance takes them. A harrowing voyage, diagonally through time. They arrive in a blissful world reminiscent of a surrealist vision of the 18th century. Physically transported, they now must live in this other universe. Meanwhile, atomic war may or may not be unfolding on Earth. On the moon, the landing craft also fades away and finds itself teleported to the green fields of this other world....IN THE GARDENS BEYOND THE MOON.

Production Notes:
Mixed and mastered with Audacity. Based on theory of visual manipulation of blocks of sound to create sonicscape narratives. The transformable nature of sound units via distortion techniques. Topologically, a doughnut and a mug are the same.
